Holiday Season

This holiday season we have done quit a bit. Even though daddy is not home alot, we have spend the time he does have off together. He came with the idea of laying wreaths at the military cemetery, with Wreaths Across America.

It’s an amazing organization and they started at Arlington, but lucky for us they did it closer to home as well. A lot of thought was put into this, and they did a remarkable job. People from al over came, from all kinds of paths in life.

They honored so many, and it was truly amazing to see. The oldest still talks about it, and she really got into it. Making sure the bow was nice  and neat, and sitting correctly. So cute and humbling to see.

She would have done every single headstone, but unfortunately there is only so many donated. So who knows maybe next year. She has said she will start in the back haha.

Tomorrow (Christmas Day) we will go and bring our local fire and police department a little treat. They can’t be with their loved ones so might brighten their day a little.

Like I said many things we have done, making gingerbread cookies, watching the lights, just spending time together.

Make sure you hug your loved ones and enjoy each moment you get with them. Everyone stay warm and safe and may you have a very Merry Christmas!

Peace and Chicken Nuggets!
